About

What is a
Promptathon?

A Promptathon is a competition where students engage directly with AI tools — not just as passive users, but as critical thinkers who understand what these systems can and cannot do.

Participants choose from a set of structured tasks, each targeting a different dimension of AI literacy: communication, ethics, and education. You'll research, craft, and submit work that demonstrates genuine understanding — not just the ability to prompt.

The academy provides background reading and videos to get you up to speed. Everything you need to compete is here.
