Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By registering for and participating in Promptathon, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not register.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria set by Your College. The organisers reserve the right to verify eligibility and disqualify ineligible participants.

3. Submissions

• All submitted work must be your own original work or clearly attributed.
• Use of AI tools is permitted and expected, but the analysis, judgement, and communication must be substantially yours.
• Plagiarism, fabrication, or misrepresentation may result in disqualification.
• By submitting, you grant Your College a non-exclusive licence to use your submission for educational and promotional purposes, with attribution.

4. Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully. The organisers may disqualify or ban any participant who engages in abusive, dishonest, or disruptive behaviour.

5. Judging

Submissions will be assessed by judges appointed by Your College. Judging decisions are final. Scores and feedback will be provided after review. No correspondence will be entered into regarding scoring decisions.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your submitted work. By submitting, you grant Your College a royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and share your submission for non-commercial educational purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

Your College provides this platform "as is". We are not liable for any technical failures, data loss, or other issues that may affect your participation. We recommend keeping copies of your submitted work.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued participation after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
